On Sunday afternoon, Kansas commit Marcus Adams Jr. announced that he will reclassify to 2023!
He had narrowed his options to three schools which were Kansas, UCLA, and Syracuse but ultimately chose Kansas on March 7th, 2023.
Coming into the the year Marcus was slept on, not even being ranked among any of the basketball national ranking sites until 247 Sports ranked him as a 4 star recruit. Marcus Adams Jr. was ranked as the 29th best player in the class of 2024, so it will be interesting to see where he ranks now that he has transitioned to the class of 2023.
6'8 4 star wing Marcus Adams Jr. has had a monster junior season at Narbonne, which is located in Harbor City, CA. Adams had some phenomenal games, putting up some insane numbers. He put up 50 points and 21 rebounds against San Pedro, and has had numerous other 30+ point games.
Over the last few summers, Marcus has been playing AAU travel basketball with Compton Magic and Elev8. These are two of the top AAU basketball programs in the Southern California region.
